TRINITY respects individual rights and protects individual freedoms. In return, TRINITY expects students to act intelligently and sensibly in the exercise of personal privileges to avoid infringing upon the rights of others. TRINITY has established certain standards of behavior essential to its educational mission and academic community life. These rules of behavior exist for several reasons. They are designed to assist each student in fulfilling his/her academic expectations and attaining personal success, in providing safe and appropriate conditions for people working together on the TRINITY premises and in fostering a positive reputation for TRINITY and its students among the wider community. The initiative and ultimate responsibility for meeting these standards of behavior rest with the student. The student accepts these standards when s/he joins the TRINITY community and is expected to live up to them at all times while a member of that community.

Any student found in violation of the Code of Ethics will be subject to disciplinary action. This could lead to a student being placed on social probation or, ultimately, in being dismissed from TRINITY. It is the hope of TRINITY’s administrators and academics that the Code of Ethics will not be broken and that there will be no need for disciplinary measures.
